Time to show off some of my knitting. I love to knit and did loads whilst pregnant. In fact going out and getting a baby pattern and some wool was one of my first actions after I got my BFP. I’ll put up a few of the bits and pieces I did, but wanted to start with one of the pieces that took me longest but is also one of the cutest.
This is the Debbie Bliss donkey jacket, from The Baby Knits book. I used the recommended Debbie Bliss cashmerino wool, which is lovely to knit with.
I think one of the sad things with baby knitting is that the time for them to wear the outfit is very short. This took me weeks but he only wore it about three times. Luckily we’d decided to get some professional family photos done and I was able to get a shot of Bub in this jacket. It makes all the hard work worth while, as I hope you’ll agree!
