Today has been about one thing and one thing only – feeding. Baby has done nothing but suck all day. Quite literally all day. I read newborn babies sleep 16-18 hours a day at first. Not this one today. He’s just been feeding non-stop. I know this is to trigger my milk etc but I thought he’d at least get in one nap… He’s just permanently on the boob. If he dozes off it’s for ten minutes max and then back up wanting feeding again.
This has been going on since half seven this morning. It’s midnight now. I’d LOVE some sleep but really don’t think I’m gonna get it.
